Mrs Hobhouse (Head Teacher - Coombe Hill Infant School)
This interactive theatre experience for young children enabled the best quality learning about science we have ever seen. We shall certainly book in advance for next year.
Rosie Keedy (Head Teacher, South Bookham Infants)
How much we enjoyed the minibeast workshop. The children were really engaged and it was a exciting climax to our outdoors week. Thank you again.
MINI BEASTS (1 hr.)
This workshop is available signed
This workshop is designed to introduce the students to the wonderful world of mini beasts and show them how clever these little creatures can be. They get a chance to experience what it is like to be a mini beast.
Our journey takes us through the daily routine of a spider and how he stores his food for a rainy day. How caterpillars protect themselves from predators and their amazing transformation into butterflies by staying safe in a cocoon. Why gardeners want to have ladybirds in their garden and how bees and wasps are needed to help make the echo system work. Find out why dragonflies are like teachers and discover why many hands make light work, by learning team work in an ant colony.
Once again the children are asked to actively participate and enjoy the experience of being a mini beast.
