DINOSAURS WORKSHOP (1 hr.)

The students are shown maps from all three time periods, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous and learn how earth's landmass has changed significantly. We also see how the environment and vegetation developed over millions of years and the impact on the evolving dinosaurs and their amazing adaptation to their habitat.
We learn what they ate and the nutritional value attached to that food. How the plants became more nourishing and easier to digest, unless you were enormous which made digesting your food more complicated. During the session, all the students dress up and become different dinosaurs from the different eras, Herrasauus, Terrasaurus, Stegosaurus' and many many more.
