This play is specifically written for schools so everyone gets a chance to shine. On average everyone has the minimum of 8 lines, but everyone is involved in the play. The play is staged in 3 different areas, the dressing room, backstage and on stage.
The show begins at the end of the run when everyone is tidying up and getting ready to go home. The actors discuss their favourite parts of the show and then start to relive it. During the play we find ourselves either in the dressing room, on stage or backstage. There are plenty of character roles such as witches, warlocks, vampires, dragons, rock musicians and solidarity amongst the stage crew. There are 8 varied songs in the show with dance sequences and a tap routine to be choreographed.
The play lasts about an hour.
There are 8 songs in the show all designed to be lots of fun to perform. The play has been devised so it can be adapted to include references to teachers or activities that are relevant to that school.
If a director is required for some or all of the rehearsals then this service can be offered.
